Fall Festivities...
Chloe was a bee for halloween.
And we were bee keepers. My cleverness impresses even me sometimes... :)
This is when she found out she wasn't getting any candy...
Carving her pumpkin. Grandpa Ketchum grew her a big one!
She really got into it.
I mean really.
One with the lady behind the camera. Aka Mommy.
The finished jack o' lantern. 8 front teeth. Chloe's twin. Let's not discuss the 3 molars that have me up typing this at 2 AM...
Oohing and Aahing over the lit jack o' lantern.
A Fall photo shoot with Granny M and Grandpa Dale
I just love this one!
Too cute!
One of our many photo shoots.
Love how this one turned out.
Our family at the annual King family trip to Uncle John's Cider Mill. So fun.
Chloe and Mommy
Chloe and Daddy
She had a lot of fun ruining the big kids' football game!
Fall has been a blast! I hope you all have had many an opportunity to take advantage of this fantastic fall weather we've been enjoying...
As we move into the Thanksgiving season, we have so much to be thankful for. Please count yourselves among the blessings we thank God for. May He be near to you and your families this holiday season. It's all about Him, you know... :) Much love to you all!

The Bi-Annual Update...
I finally got a decent camera and am trying my hand at learning photography. I use the term "learning" very loosely, as I don't even have a manual for the camera. Just so you have your expectations aligned accordingly.
But seriously... Could my subject be any cuter? I can't take it. I must kiss her 50 times a day. And I can't wait to see her every morning. We are having a blast.
I will try to update more often, but I just can't make any promises. I'm pretty busy with all the kissing...

Spring 09... Chloe's 1st Birthday, 1st Easter, 1st trip to the park and other adventures...
Here she is on the way to the cake. Her first taste. Yes, I waited a full year before letting her have sugar.
She savored it. She's definitely her momma's daughter. We heart cake.
After about 3 minutes of the previous pose, she finally came up for air.
Great Grandma and Great Grandpa bought her her first big wheel. She loves it!
Granny M and Grandpa Dale got her this sweet John Deere wagon. She's been riding around in it in the house. We don't want to get it dirty... Soon enough we'll break it in. Probably this weekend.
Grandma Ketchum and I took Chloe to the park for the first time. We have this incredible park right in Linden. I'm guessing we'll be spending a lot of time there this summer.
She loved the swing!
This was Easter morning. That's definitely a bonus of an April birthday. We can recycle the party dress for an Easter dress!
Grandma Ketchum bought her a bunny suit! She didn't mind wearing it at all. So cute!
She helped daddy assemble a home for her books. She makes an excellent assistant.
She's testing the quality. Yep. That oughtta hold some books.
She absolutely loves her bath. She's graduated to the real tub. She still opens her mouth all the way for splashfest. Every time.
I think she's going to love the pool!
There you have it! We're alive and well. Chloe is walking, make that running everywhere. She likes bananas, remote controls and long walks in the park.... She's trying to talk, and Lord knows when she figures that out, we're done for. She still doesn't have much hair. It's getting thicker in the back, but the front is going to be awhile. I'm afraid we may have a baby mullet in our near future..
I'll try to update more often, but no promises. To say I have my hands full is a but of an understatement! Much love to you all!

What we've been up to...
Not much. Growing teeth and refusing to follow along with the routine. All in a days work, for little Miss Chloe. The take away lessons?
1. I can rest when I'm dead.
2. She will eventually have all her teeth.
3. It's a choice to enjoy the madness in the meantime. I choose to! :)
Forgive me for the Halloween outfit in February. I refuse to use an outfit on one occasion. She's running out of jammies that fit! All that aside, is there anyone cuter? I love it!!!
Her and daddy have been having all kinds of fun.
There's a lot of golf involved.
She looks a bit like a maniac here, but she was just having a really fun time with daddy!
They devised a plan whereby he doesn't have to bend over to pick up the golf ball.
It seems to work pretty well.
Of course, any time there is a ball involved, you have Sidney's undivided attention. Also - note the adorable little tooth!
Pulling a Houdini with her nighty. Or she was trying to fancy it up for the Oscars. A little off the shoulder number...
This is a less formal occasion. She's obsessed with her socks. I went in to get her the other day when it became evident that she wasn't going to cooperate with the nap... She had flung her socks overboard. They were right next to the crib.
Grandpa came to visit and they had lots of fun!
Here she is in the cutest little ensemble ever. She gets lots of compliments whenever we're out.
Granny M brought her her first Valentine. She loved it!
And look at this big girl! She will be walking before we know it. I'm not ready.
As always, we can't forget about them dogs. They are both slowing down considerably. Sydney loves to warm herself by the stove. Once she laid completely on the bricks with her head touching the leg of the stove. Honestly, she's going to set herself on fire one of these days...
And Kiley... Well, she thought it would be a great idea to dig a hole to China. Until she realized she would get dunked in a bucket of water. Then she realized it was, at best, a mediocre idea.

Some pictures...
Chloe's 1st Thanksgiving
The Fam on Thanksgiving
In her Holiday garb.
Look at that big girl!
Chloe and Daddy
The fam again.
Chloe has been sick and a little high maintenance lately... I have pictures on my camera, but I haven't had two seconds to upload them, so I figured I should get these up in the mean time.
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. We sure did. One of these years, I'll actually mail cards out again. Thank you to all of you who sent cards! It's wonderful to hear from you!
I pray that this year is filled with hope, love and joy!
Much love!
